Summary
American Psycho is a ruthless and daring new musical from Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, The Muckle Man, The Picture of Dorian Gray). Based on the electrifying novel by Bret Easton Ellis, the musical tells the story of Patrick Bateman, a young and handsome Wall Street banker with impeccable taste and unquenchable desires. Patrick and his elite group of friends spend their days in chic restaurants, exclusive clubs and designer labels. But at night, Patrick takes part in a darker indulgence, and his mask of sanity is starting to slip…
History
American Psycho premiered at the Almeida Theatre in London in December 2013 and ran until February 1st 2014. The show opened on Broadway on April 21, 2016 and closed on June 05, 2016 after 27 previews and 54 regular performances.

American Psycho is a unique property that requires some specialty skills from your music director.

American Psycho has electronica tracks that were run through Ableton during the run on Broadway. When you license this title from us you can either opt to use the Ableton files as originally intended or purchase performance tracks from Right on Cue Services for an additional fee. 
If you opt to use the electronica you will receive the Ableton files and a Piano-Conductor score. Your music director will play the “DJ” track as well as any live keyboard required for the show. They will use Ableton to cue the electronica and seamlessly transition in and out of vamps.
