Tarek Skylar

“Taz” Tarek Yassin Skylar is a writer/actor/producer – son to a Sierra Leonese/Lebanese father and a Yorkshire mother. Raised in the Canary Islands, Tarek came to the UK four years ago after having worked at surfboard manufacturing plants, from the age of fifteen.

Dyslexic, legally illiterate, middle school dropout (uneducated past the age of fifteen.), Tarek attempted to join the TA in 2016, failing his medical test after a car accident, which left him with a savage concussion. Having to wait a whole year before he could re-apply for the military, Tarek threw himself into writing and performing. Warheads is his first writing credit.
