Overview

The skeleton of a wrecked house. A hundred years ago the village fell into the sea. On a rocky ledge above the beach Bill and Anna recriminate, negociate and strike bargains with God. Looming over them: the shadows of the village's lost fishermen - and of their own dead daughter. And below, the waves waiting to claim them.
