Frank Dunlop’s playwriting credits include SCAPINO! and ADDRESS UNKNOWN. Directing credits for the Old Vic Theatre in London include: EDWARD II (Bertolt Brecht), HOME AND BEAUTY (Somerset Maugham), MACRUNE’S GUEVARA (John Spurling), THE WHITE DEVIL (John Webster), and THE CAPTAIN OF KÖPENICK (Carl Zuckmayer, adapted by John Mortimer). Broadway directing credits include: SHERLOCK HOLMES, HABEAS CORPUS, and SCAPINO! Directing credits for BAM Theater Company include: THE NEW YORK IDEA, JULIUS CAESAR, THE PLAY’S THE THING, THE DEVIL’S DISCIPLE, and THE THREE SISTERS. Dunlop served as the associate artistic director and later administrative director for the National Theatre of Great Britain under Laurence Olivier. In 1969, he founded the Young Vic Theatre in London, serving there as artistic director for a total of eleven years.
