Amlin Gray

Amlin Gray was trained as an actor and worked in the experimental Off-Off Broadway theatre through the first half of the 70s. His first play, FOUNDING FATHER, was seen at the O’Neill Theatre Center in 1974 and later at the Cubiculo in New York. PIRATES was at the O’Neill two years later. In 1977, Mr. Gray became Playwright in Residence at the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. The MRT presented six of his plays on its mainstage, its second stage, and in touring productions. Additional productions have included BO at the Intiman Theatre in Seattle and the Florida Studio Theatre; HOW I GOT THAT STORY at Theatre Three in Dallas and THE FANTOO at Theatre X in Milwaukee and the Actors Theatre of St. Paul. Mr. Gray has also written the play JOE MCCARTHY LIES IN STATE.
