Jacqueline Goldfinger

Jacqueline Goldfinger (she/they) is a playwright, dramaturg, librettist and poet. She’s best known for the award-winning Babel and off-Broadway’s Backwards Forwards Back. Her awards include the Yale Prize, Smith Prize and Opera America Discovery Award. Her plays have been produced at theatres including The Kennedy Center (USA), École nationale de théâtre (Canada) and Court Theatre (New Zealand). Her opera and choral libretti have been performed at Sydney Opera House (Australia), Opera Columbus (USA), Voces8 (UK) and others. Her poetry has been published in American Poetry Review, Queer Words Anthology, Poetry Wales and others.
