Jordan Allen-Dutton

Jordan Allen-Dutton, three time Emmy-nominated writer/producer, graduated from Tisch at NYU in '99 (recipient of the Artist Scholar Award.) While at NYU he created The Bomb-itty of Errors, a hip-hop add-rap-tation of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, which became a smash Off-Broadway hit, performing in the West End in London, toured the US and Amsterdam (Drama Desk Award, Outer Critic's Circle Award, Jeff Award in Chicago, Grand Jury Prize for Best Show at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival), and was published by Samuel French. With the success of Bomb-itty, Mr. Allen-Dutton signed the first ever three-tier deal with MTV and Paramount going on to produce, write, and star in the hip-hop sketch comedy series, Scratch & Burn for MTV in 2002. From there he was invited to be a fellow at the Sundance Screenwriting Lab. His second play NERDS, a musical comedy about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs won Outstanding New Play and Outstanding Original Music at the 2007 Barrymore Awards in Philly and is headed to Broadway. Mr. Allen-dutton has written on 5 seasons of Robot Chicken for which he was nominated for three Emmy awards. He's sold original pilots and films, to FOX, MTV, Comedy Central, and Paramount.
