Grant Heslov
Grant Heslov has been recognized for his work as a producer, writer, director and actor. Together with George Clooney, he founded and continues to run Smokehouse Pictures. A four-time Oscar nominee, Heslov received a Best Picture Academy Award for Argo. He earned an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Ides of March, which he co-wrote with Clooney, and earned dual Oscar nominations for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay for Good Night, and Good Luck, which he also co-wrote with Clooney. Heslov’s additional producing credits include the feature films Wolfs, Boys in the Boat, Ticket to Paradise, The Tender Bar, Midnight Sky, Suburbicon, Money Monster, Our Brand Is Crisis, The Monuments Men, August: Osage County, The American, The Men Who Stare at Goats (also directed) and Leatherheads.
Heslov currently serves as executive producer and director of the Showtime/Paramount+ series The Agency. Other television credits include the upcoming Surviving Ohio State (HBO), Catch-22 (Hulu), Trial by Media (Netflix), On Becoming a God in Central Florida (Showtime), Unscripted (HBO), and K-Street (HBO). Heslov and Clooney co-wrote and produced the stage adaptation of Good Night, and Good Luck.
