Jethro Compton

Jethro Compton is a British writer, director and independent theatre producer. His most notable production is the stage adaptation of the classic Western The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

Other theatre work includes Blood Red Moon, The Clock Strikes Noon and The Rattlesnake's Kiss, three original Western plays under the title The Frontier Trilogy; and Wolf's Blood, an original play inspired by Jack London's White Fang.

In Europe, Jethro directs German-language productions of his own work including, most recently, his adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Little Princess.

Previous work includes the internationally acclaimed First World War triptych The Bunker Trilogy.
