David Johnston

David Johnston translates from Spanish, Portuguese and French. Described by American academic Kathleen Jeffs as 'now widely recognised as the writer of the most innovative translations of Spanish Golden Age plays in the twenty-first century', he has also written translations of plays by, among others, Juan Mayorga, Federico García Lorca, Moliere, and Vargas Llosa.
