Becca Marriott

Becca Marriott read English at the University of Oxford, where she was awarded the Jesus College Arts Prize and selected to take part in a series of poetry workshops with Sir Christopher Ricks. During her time at Oxford, Becca directed the university’s improvised comedy troupe, The Oxford Imps; a renowned training ground for comedians. Becca subsequently went on to receive a Master’s in Vocal Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She has written and collaborated on several opera libretti including La Serva Padrona (Tête-à-tête & Edinburgh Fringe), Tosca (King’s Head Theatre), and an Olivier nominated production of La bohème (King’s Head Theatre & Trafalgar Studios). She has also written several unpublished plays and novels, in addition to translating a children’s book and music education series, from award winning Italian author, Luca Tieppo.
