Ross Berkeley Simpson

Ross directed plays for the BAFTA-winning Television Workshop before setting up his own company First Act Workshops in 2009. He has written and directed many award-winning short films, including 'The Present' (adapted from a script by Manda Rigby) which was described by festival judge Jonathon Coe as 'an impressive achievement'. In his youth Ross had a record deal with Polydor, toured with Ronan Keating and scored a No. #3 club hit in a duo with his childhood friend Louise Grice. He lives in the West Midlands.
