Steve Borowka

Steve Borowka (he/him) is a playwright, theatre director, actor and educator. He has his MA in Educational Theater from NYU. As a playwright, Steve’s work has been seen at Vassar College, Yale University, McCarter Theatre’s Education Department, Hunter College High School, Friends Seminary, the Winsor School and other educational institutions and theatres around the country. He has worked with young performers on new works at Passage Theatre’s Education Department, New York University, Theatre Ink and New Players Theatre Company. Steve co-founded and served as the Camp Director for Acting Manitou Theater Camp for 17 summers and has served as the DEIB facilitator and theatre producer for Camp Manitou. Additionally, Steve has worked with the PEN Prison Writing Mentorship Program and the Trevor Project Foundation and has presented at American Alliance for Theatre and Education conferences.
