Keith Herrmann

Keith Herrmann (1952-2021) received a Tony nomination (Best Musical Score) for the Broadway show Romance/Romance, which received a total of 5 nominations, including Best Show. (Other nominees that year included Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera and Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods.) In addition, he created the score for Broadway's Onward Victoria, starring Jill Eikenberry, and the off-Broadway cult favorite Prom Queens Unchained! A long-time Broadway "resident," Mr. Herrmann played and/or conducted numerous shows in New York, including The Magic Show, Godspell, Whoopee, Cats (recording its Grammy-award-winning cast album) and others.
