The Ghost Train (Revised)

Arnold Ridley’s classic comedy-thriller, The Ghost Train, was first produced in 1925 and has been a firm favourite with professional and non-professional theatre companies ever since. Six passengers find themselves stranded late at night in the waiting-room of an isolated Cornish railway station. Ignoring the ghostly tales and dire warnings of the stationmaster, they decide to stay where they are until morning – with terrifying consequences. Finally, all is revealed and the details of a fiendish plot are laid bare.

Easy Money

The Stafford family are all in need of money in one way or the other. They have been secretly doing the football pools - secretly because Grandma who lives with them disapproves. When they find that they have won, everything looks good. They all have money for their needs and Grandma, in disgust, has started to pack her things to move out. Then they discover the maid forgot to post the coupon.

Geranium

One-act comedy in which drama unfolds at the home of Rodney Morcambe, after his wife, Agatha, is accused of cheating at the local church whist game in order to win the top prize; a Geranium.

Three act play. Gilbert Bernal, a hotel owner is unhappily married to his wife of 20 years, Cora. She frequently quarrels with him and accuses him of an infatuation with their resident housekeeper Mary. After a particularly violent altercation, Gilbert's thoughts truly do turn to murder and he succeeds, leaving him free to finally marry Mary. However, when Cora's sister visits from Australia to investigate the death of her sister, a shocking revelation is unearthed. 

East of Ludgate Hill

Three act comedy in which the employees of a successful firm have their futures thrown into question after one of the partners is accused of disappearing with £20,000 from the company safe. 

The Wrecker

The Wrecker is about an old engine driver who thinks his engine is malevolent and self-aware. The finale is a huge train wreck using elaborate stage special effects as per The Ghost Train, also by Ridley.

Bellamy

Tired of the uncertainties of the acting profession, Bellamy has become the butler to Sir George and Lady Wareham. He is most put out when their son Dick turns up with his estranged wife saying they are engaged. The Wareham's daughter, Pamela, is dallying with the unsuitable Mortimer. Their eccentric American neighbour, Hector accidentally shoots Pamela and when, after a series of burglaries in the area, Sir George suspects Bellamy of perpetrating them, it takes all his know-how to sort everything out.
