When Oz demands a steep price for sending her home, a perilous new adventure begins. Full of ensemble possibilities, this imaginative adaptation captures the heart of L. Frank Baum’s classic tale.

This adaptation may be produced as simply or elaborately as desired – the key is to use the ensemble as imaginatively as possible to create scenes, and to facilitate the transition from one Oz locale to the next. The ensemble may assume many of the roles found in the play, including the Crows, inhabitants of Munchkinland, Emerald City citizens, Winkies, Flowers, Winged Monkeys, Trees in the forest and so forth.
