Two battling narrators attempt to cover the entirety of Greek mythology using audience participation, cross-dressing and general theatrical insanity.
Two battling narrators attempt to cover the entirety of Greek mythology using audience participation, cross-dressing and general theatrical insanity. Creation myths such as Pandora’s Box or Cronos and the Titans jostle for space with other famous myths like Jason and the Argonauts (the original Super Friends). Culminating in a heart-pounding, five-minute, two-actor version of The Iliad, this fast-paced, free-wheeling play is wild, silly and a complete blast for all ages. (A full-length and an Iliad! only version of this play are also available.)
The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza (one-act) was originally performed by Watauga Middle School on April 18, 2008.

This play is performable with a cast of 8 talented performers. Performing the play with a cast this small requires costume changes in direct view of the audience, cross-casting, funny accents and a lot of silliness. The narrators would also assume roles in most of the scenes. It can also be done with a cast member in each individual role, leading to a cast size of around 35.
