Harry Potter and the Cursed Child premiered in the West End at the Palace Theatre on 7 June 2016. It was first produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, Colin Callender & Harry Potter Theatrical Productions. After a record-breaking award season at the 2017 Olivier Awards, a Broadway production premiered at the Lyric Theatre on 11 April 2018. After winning multiple Tony Awards, the show has since additionally opened in numerous cities across the globe, including Hamburg, Melbourne, San Francisco, Tokyo, and Toronto and continues to be seen in various cities across North America.
