The Family Dance

The adult members of the Musgrave family are preparing for the children's dance. Ben, head of the family, rails against his position as universal provider. His wife escapes when he comes near. Toby takes refuge from reality in drink and a romanticized past. He is still romantically attached to his wife Victoria, who is consumed with passion for the handsome Charles, whose valetudinarian brother is married to Diana, lynch-pin of the household, who attempts to instill some purpose and organization into this bickering, divided family.
