Summary
The McKenna family conven's to mark the 21st birthday of their son, Eugene (Gene) who committed suicide two years previously. The paren's have thrown the'selves into their work but the'siblin's have been cut adrift with no real purpose or desire to procreate the'selves. They worry away at the'scab of Gene's suicide trying to find "closure", but then eccentric cousin Bridget produces a suicide note, previously unseen.
