Summary
The great Roman General Lucullus is judged in the underworld by representatives of the living future. The figures from his triumphal frieze are called as witnesses to his victories but only his introduction of the cherry tree into Europe speaks for him. Thus his bloody hands are not entirely empty, but 80,000 dead is a high price to pay.
