Summary
Their encounter begins over a contentious game of cards, ending abruptly in anger. The action progresses to their memories of a friendlier past, leading the pair to agree on a time for a date. Alas, they cannot agree on the location! Come the big night they wait at home, each expecting the other to turn up... Superb dialogue and imaginative sound effects suggest the setting with a minimum of props. At once a poignant love story and a hilarious comedy of manners, this play will inspire audiences of all ages.
