Meet a Body

Freelance assassin Hawkins is hired to blow up Sir Gregory Upshott, a prominent London businessman. He finds out through Upshott's spinster secretary, that his target will be spending a weekend at a seaside hotel, the Green Man. Hawkins hides a bomb in a radio, which he plans to leave in the hotel lounge. Finding out his plans, the secretary comes to his house to confront him but is attacked and left for dead by Hawkins' assistant and found by a vacuum cleaner salesman, who then gets entangled into the murder and potential assassination.
