Sue and her committee get together to plan the church congregational dinner-meeting. While she tries to guide the discussion - often with the aid of a whistle to restore order - Amy prattles, Edith complains, Doris preaches, and Mary amiably agrees with just about everything. They willingly offer comments, ideas, and suggestions, but when they are asked to assume responsibility, each responds with a prompt excuse for not accepting, and volunteers the time and services of someone else.
