Mr and Mrs Lot and thier two daughters are escaping fro Sodom's destruction. The whole family is very much under Mrs Lot's thumb, and her self-expression finds the widest possible escape however much the personalities of others may suffer. Her husband is only too glad, therefore, to watch her disappear in a slime-pit, and he tells the girls that she has turned in to the statue he was being forced, with such reluctance, to transport. A he-man at last, he makes his exit, triumphantly drawn by his awe-struck children.
