Summary
Ernest Cudlippe, a bank manager, has retired to a little place in the country and has just moved in. His son Brian is home on leave and during his stay falls in love with the vicar's daughter Charity. Very unexpectedly the Cudlippe's daughter Gwin and her husband Jeremy arrive. She is expecting, and they have been turned out of their flat. They are hoping to stay with the family in the meantime, and have brought a pig thinking they can fatten it up to help with the food situation. Charity however tells them they must keep it's existence a secret or else they will lose it. The only hiding-place they can find is the second bathroom... This only brews mischief...
