Joe Griffiths is casting for a film about domestic hate. He tries to sign up Annabelle Anson and Walter Winnot but both refuse to play unsympathetic parts. Gregory Galway and his wife, Marjory Mainway, who have been living the story of the film in their private lives for the past ten years, jump at the parts, but unknown to each other. Unfortunately, no sooner have they signed their contracts than they meet in the passage and shoot each other dead.
