NARRATOR 1-5 - The tellers of the tale. JACK - A king hearted boy who beleives in fairytales. JACK 2 - Jack in disguise. JACK 3 - Jack in another disguise. MOTHER - Jack's mother; a grumpy old woman who used to be rich and happy. COW - Jack's best friend. ALEX THE SKUNK MERCHANT - A skunk merchant named Alex. CHRIS THE CHEESE MERCHANT - A cheese merchant named Chris. SUE THE POTPOURRI MERCHANT - A potpourri merchant named Sue. BEANSELLER - A mysterious bean merchant with a secret past. THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY - A fugitive in the magical land above the clouds. THE GIANT - A big man with a big appetite for little people. GIANT'S WIFE - A big woman with a big heart. HEN - An enchanted and exhausted hen that lays golden eggs. HARP - A magical singing harp who acts like an opera star/diva.
