A cryptic government agency asks Ash, a specialist in memory formation, to help amnesiac Grace remember her past. Given little information on his patient—or his employer—Ash must use clues in Grace's behavior to figure out who she is, what happened to her, and why someone would pay top dollar to help her regain her memories.
