A recently discovered play written two years before The Vortex, prior to Coward becoming famous. It was in a season of Grand Guignol plays staged at the Little Theatre in London's West End. Alice and David are in an unhappy married relationship; Marion is the understanding friend whom David wants to have an affair with. Alice tries to push David and Marion together by confessing to affairs of her own and David infuriates her by being so very understanding about it all!
