Overview
Based on the author's television series Only When I Laugh, this comedy traces the fortunes of a disparate trio in a men's surgical ward. One is cynical and defensive, one is young and nervous, and the third is a weary hypochondriac. They form an uneasy alliance to combat the confusion and insecurities of hospital life.
