is the eve of Nicola Thompson's wedding day; the festivities are
prepared, the presents are wrapped. Sheila, Nicola's mother is avidly
ticking off her list, and everyone else in the process! The groom-to-be,
Tom, arrives with a raffia-covered bottle of Chianti for his
prospective father-in-law, David, and a night of humorous banter and
reminiscence ensues. When David opens the wine, however, things take a
dramatic and surprising turn. Mike Tibbett's play, based on a true story
is as engaging as it is witty, clever and revealing.
