Overview

Translation of La Tour de Nesle produced in 1996 at London's Almeida Theatre. A tale of murder, sexual depravity and treachery among the French aristocracy. The play, dubbed anti-monarchist, played for 800 performances during the French revolutions of the 1830s. This version is translated by Charles Wood for the stage.
