Overview
A fiercely funny play about what it's like to
be a young woman living, working, drinking, loving and having sex in the
21st century. It's Bella's 29th birthday. Friends and former lovers meet for a
drink to celebrate. But as the Bloody Marys flow, the bar soon becomes a
battlefield. Nina Raine's Rabbit was first performed at the Old Red Lion
Theatre, London, in 2006. It subsequently transferred to the Trafalgar
Studios in the West End, before playing at the Brits Off Broadway
festival in New York in 2007. The play won Nina Raine both the Evening Standard and Critics' Circle Awards for Most Promising Playwright in 2006.
