Overview

Fed up with the pressures of fame, starlet Myra Marlowe visits a small New England town to hide out and write her autobiography. Her prying neighbors cause Myra to get tangled up in lies, as she invents a mad, homicidal sister (that's really Myra in a wig). When the local handyman falls for her batty "sister" and local church ladies fixate on saving her soul, Myra’s lies bring her more than she bargained for.
