Overview
Dr Angelus has taken on a junior partner, Dr Johnson, who has great respect for his senior, even if he is apparently a little sinister and eccentric. Angelus asks his new partner if he will take over the care of his mother-in-law who has a gastric complaint. Johnson is warned to beware of Angelus, but scorns the gossip - so when his mother-in-law takes a turn for the worse, and Mrs Angelus taken ill with a similar complaint, he begins to fear he will be mistaken as an accessory to Angelus' wicked plans.
