Summary
George, a lonely young man, has rashly written to "Friendship's Garland" saying he would like to meet a young lady wearing a bunch of violets at a Milk Bar. Four widely different women turn up to meet him, and his encounters with them, as well as with the two attendants and two other elderly ladies, lead to various misunderstandings which almost lose him Barbara, the one he really wants.
