Summary
Richard and his wife Corinne have moved to the country to start a new life, but for Richard this also means kicking his crippling drug addiction. One night he brin's home a young American, Rebecca, claiming to have found her unconscious by the roadside, but Corinne is justifiably suspicious and takes the first opportunity to interrogate the girl. It gradually emerges that all is not as it seems, and so begins a chain of even's that sees their rural idyll smashed by adultery and alienation. Contained in the volume Martin Crimp: Plays 2
