When young men from London finally are open to the independent world, what challenges do they face and how do they overcome them? “I feel like we live in fear. Fear of being our true selves. It's generations of conditioning”. As they face physical and mental challenges, their bond – or lack of it – sets the course for how their individual lives will go on.
One Way Out premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on 3 August 2023, where it received the 2023 Untapped Award. Directed by Montel Douglas, the production featured Shem Hamilton, Marcus Omoro, Sam Pote and Adam Seridji.
It then premiered in London at Brixton House on 18 June 2025. Directed by Montel Douglas, this production featured David Alade, Joe Deighton, Adam Seridji and Joshua-Alexander Williams.

Also plays IMMIGRATION OFFICER. SALIM – Eighteen, joker. Easily influenced, Muslim. From outside London, North African or South Asian. Playing age sixteen to eighteen, class clown.
