Jessica Norman
Two Flat-Earthers travel to Antarctica to find the edge of the world… Jessica Norman’s gripping debut play, long-listed for the Women’s Prize for Playwriting, explores the perils of a world where ‘truth’ has been co-opted by powerful liars and looks at the strange and sometimes dangerous ways we attempt to control the chaotic world around us.
Two Flat Earthers travel to Antarctica to find the edge of the world… When Honey’s sister dies she is left with a well-thumbed copy of 'The Worst Journey in the World', a yearning for the South Pole and endless questions. Christopher knows to question everything. He believes that the truth is out there— but it’s being hidden from us by the people in power. Can they survive discovering what really lies at the ends of the Earth? In the wildest and harshest place on the planet, their unconventional love story soon turns into a nightmarish fever dream.
This Little Earth was first performed at Arcola Theatre on 22 October 2025.
