Soon they are in a race against time to clear Robert’s name and decipher a labyrinthine code before a shocking historical secret is lost forever. The stage adaptation of The Da Vinci Code was commissioned by Simon Friend and first produced at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley, England, in January 2022 before touring the United Kingdom. Directed by Luke Sheppard, the production featured Nigel Harman, Danny John-Jules, Hannah Rose Caton, Basienka Blake, Alasdair Buchan, Joshua Lacey, Leigh Lothian, Andrew Lewis, Debra Michaels, Alpha Kargbo and Adam Morris. The play then premiered in the USA at Ogunquit Playhouse in August 2023. Directed by Leigh Toney, the production featured Michael Urie, Hannah Cruz, Charles Shaughnessy, David T. Patterson, Howard Kaye, Glenn Morizio, Tarik Lowe, Thursday Farrar, Jennifer Regan, Katya Collazo, Marissa Parness, Josh Kolb and Michael Liebhauser.
