Summary

Meet Milo Mazowski - a campus security guard who's determination to woo a lovely local bar owner is only hampered by one thing: his unlimited memory which makes him spout out pretty much every unromantic thing he's ever heard in his life. A bittersweet comedy about learning how to forget.

History

The Mnemonist of Dutchess County premiered at Theatre Row by The Attic Theater in February of 2013 under the direction of Laura Savia.

MILO MAZOWSKI – Recently fired Campus Security guard at Deans College. Has an unlimited memory. Literally. Also has a deep emotional well…that he has no capacity to process without help. Late 20’s/Early 30’s, Male.
DR. G.H. HULIE – Head of the Psychology Department at Deans College. Easily excited by intellectual ideas. Extremely articulate. Tries his best not to be pretentious…doesn’t always succeed. 40’s/50’s, Male.
SAMANTHA RILEY – Junior at Deans College. Super smart, grade obsessed, neurotically ambitious. Like Milo, her emotional development has taken a backseat to her other pursuits. Early 20’s, Female.
JOEY GIAMANI – A Campus Security guard at Deans College. Milo’s friend and protector. His toughness masks his vulnerability. Late 20’s/early 30’s, Male.
GINA GIAMANI – Owner of the Blind Eagle - a local dive bar where the sports-obsessed working class and the scene-obsessed Deans College kids interact. Joey’s sister. She’s tough, like Joey, but way more in touch with her feelings. 30’s, Female.
TITO DAVIS – Bouncer at the Blind Eagle. Brighter than he lets on. Very conniving, very enthusiastic, and more often than not, very stoned. 30’s/40’s, Male.
