Summary
American Psycho is a ruthless and daring new musical from Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, The Muckle Man, The Picture of Dorian Gray). Based on the electrifying novel by Bret Easton Ellis, the musical tells the story of Patrick Bateman, a young and handsome Wall Street banker with impeccable taste and unquenchable desires. Patrick and his elite group of friends spend their days in chic restaurants, exclusive clubs and designer labels. But at night, Patrick takes part in a darker indulgence, and his mask of sanity is starting to slip…
History
American Psycho premiered at the Almeida Theatre in London on 12 December 2013. Directed by Rupert Goold, the production featured a young Jonathan Bailey as Tim Price. American Psycho then made its Broadway debut on 21 April 2016 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. Directed again by Goold, this production starred Benjamin Walker, Jennifer Damiano and Alice Ripley.

American Psycho is a unique property that requires some specialty skills from your music director.

American Psycho has electronica tracks that were run through Ableton during the run on Broadway. When you license this title from us you can either opt to use the Ableton files as originally intended or purchase performance tracks from Right on Cue Services for an additional fee. 
If you opt to use the electronica you will receive the Ableton files and a Piano-Conductor score. Your music director will play the “DJ” track as well as any live keyboard required for the show. They will use Ableton to cue the electronica and seamlessly transition in and out of vamps.
