Please note, the Samuel French bookshop will stop trading on 27 July and become a free library resource from September. 

Over 5,000 scripts and theatre books will be donated by Concord and made freely available for members of the public to browse and enjoy across the Royal Court Theatre’s front of house areas. The library will also be regularly stocked with new publications from Concord Theatricals.

At the heart of a wide range of plays and theatre books is our unrivalled selection of Royal Court Playtexts.  Scripts for current productions sell for just £5.00, and many more, for past productions, are available both in store and online.

Opening Hours

Our standard opening hours are 11.30am–7.45pm, Monday to Saturday / 11.30am to 5.30pm on non-show days (closed on Bank Holidays).
